A royal heir

In the somewhat murky waters of the lines of kings, one line seems to have continued while many others failed. The Holy Scriptures carry a solemn oath and promise from God that there would be a line of kings that would never fail as long as humans and nations existed. That line began with King David of Israel about 3000 years ago. The royal line of King David endured many periods of trouble and death, but God promised David there would always be at least one man to sit on the throne (2 Chron:6:16). During the upheavals in the history of Israel, exact details have gotten somewhat lost, but there are some strong clues that bear paying attention to. One is that this line of Kings would be Caucasian because the children of Israel were Caucasian. Another is that Jesus Christ was to descend from this line and He did (Matt.1, Luke:3:23-31) albeit a thousand years later.

If God is God (and He most certainly is) then there must be the descendants of the Davidic line of Judah in existence today and seated upon the throne of David – if that throne is in power. There are a number of times in the past when the direct line of succession shifted, but always there was a connection back to the original kingly line of King David. What about this present royal family line of England and the history of this throne? Through times of great upheaval and historical darkness, since David was king 3000 years ago, some have tried to trace the lineage of David. There are some Biblical guidelines and written statements that will help. Most importantly of all – there can be no doubt the royal heir exists or God has failed in His promise. No doubt Satan has targeted this royal line just as he targeted Jesus Christ. God had to intervene at times to ensure that the prophecies and promises He made always came into being.

The nation of Israel and the tribe of Judah from which King David came, were Caucasians, and so was Jesus Christ. God is not a respecter of persons (Acts:10:34), but He did choose Abraham and his descendants of all the races or people on earth (Deut. 7:6). These were the chosen people of God. They did not proclaim themselves His people – God said they were His and followed that up with the history of Israel contained in the Bible and then the promise of an heir. We can eliminate a large part of the population of the world by focusing on a line of kings that are Caucasian. We must also seek a royal line that has been in place for a long period of time. In this present day and age in the year 2013, there are no other Caucasian lines of kings actually serving on a throne in any part of the earth that is inhabited by Caucasians than the present line of Queen Elizabeth II. Not only that, but there is a long traceable line of descendants of the Queen that reached back hundreds of years. Some are known as the royal families of other nations of Europe. On July 22/ 2013, a newborn baby boy was declared to be directly in line for the throne of England which is now occupied by Queen Elizabeth II. The succession goes from the Queen, on to Prince Charles, on to Prince William and now the great grandson of Queen Elizabeth, Prince George. However, the line of succession has been set up by men and the laws of men. Part of the history includes struggles for power and great trouble. Some struggled to be king, some abdicated or were forced to abdicate, and some became king because of changes in the royal line. For example King Edward abdicated the throne in 1936 due to his personal involvement with a woman. His brother George became King because of the abdication. The present line of succession, then, is different from what it might have been – but is still of David as per God’s promise.

The line of David residing in Jerusalem ended about 595 BC when Judah was finally captured – some returned later with Ezra. It is interesting to note that about 2000 years ago, the line of King David was clearly detailed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Jesus is destined to become the King of kings and Lord of lords – so He is the ultimate fulfillment of the promise to David. However, although that is true, that is not enough – there needed to be a physical line of kings as promised that was continual (2 Chron:7:18). That is also why Jesus Christ was to be born to one who was a direct descendant of the family of King David and therefore of the tribe of Judah. (Isa:11:1,10, Rev:5:5).

God also stated that the sword would not depart from the descendants of King David (2 Sam:12:10). The history of the kings of Britain and families are red with blood as promised. Almost all the kings of England were crowned on the “stone of scone” which is believed to be Jacob’s pillar stone on which he lay when God gave him the great promises of the inheritance (Gen:28:11-15). Those promises did include rulership and although the descendants of Israel failed miserably to fulfill the great potential God offered and the sons of David did no better, Israel will one day become a light to all nations. Still, God did all He could to fulfill His part of the offer (Isa:5:9).

The greatest nations of Israel were proclaimed to be those coming from Joseph and Judah. Joseph produced Ephraim and Manasseh. Ephraim came to be a great company of nations (Gen:48:19). When this royal heir was proclaimed, the news carried throughout all the former Commonwealth and the whole Commonwealth rejoiced. It was a great company of nations that formed the Commonwealth – the promise to Joseph for Ephraim. Ephraim and Manasseh were to carry the name of Israel (Gen:48:16), and we still see the guiding hand and light Ephraim brought to other nations, encased in the laws and educational system of great nations like the USA (Manasseh) and others.

David was of Judah – thus we see the greatness of Judah included the bloodline of the king. The greatest descendant of King David is Jesus Christ – of course. But Jesus was not destined to sit on the throne of David until God has taken over the world (Luke:1:32,33). Jesus Christ will be the King of all kings and David will be King of Israel when he is resurrected as a spirit being. There will still be a royal Prince and royal line which are physical (Ezek:37:24). Though there presently is a Queen seated on the throne and there have been outstanding Queens on the throne in the past (Elizabeth the first and Victoria for example) – there has always been a man available to be king. Through times in which the throne was moved and there were disruptions of rule, the line was always preserved. God said David would never want for a son who could sit on the throne.

Books have been written about these points. The British-Israel society has gathered factual data. Of interest too, is the fact that about every royal family of EU is connected to the royal line of Britain. Prince Philip came from the royal family of Greece, but was a blood relative of the royal family of Britain. Kaiser Wilhelm was the nephew to Victoria.

God’s prophecies cannot fail and have not failed. This royal heir is another part of God’s promise to David. That is why there is no royal family on earth that can match up with that of Britain and that makes Prince George potentially a part of the fulfillment of the promise of God – a special royal heir.
